During winter skiing becomes the “king of sports” in Val Pusteria and in Riscone over all. Plan de Corones is considered as one of the best ski areas in South Tyrol and in the Dolomites. If you are not ski lovers you do not have to worry, there are various alternatives. In Riscone you will find cross-country pistes, an ice rink for ice-skating and numerous possible walks and excursions, also with snowshoes. In December Brunico proposes, as every year, the typical Christmas market with its joyous atmosphere.
